The Fault in Our Own Stars just came out in theaters — everyone is telling me to WAIT and read the book first. I am going to listen and do just that.
Do you read the book first or watch the movie?
Which movies have done it right? (Give the book justice) Which movies failed at that?

I like to see the movie first because the book will probably have more detail that the movie might have left out. Also I found when reading the book first you focus to much on the comparisons and usually leave the movie short changed.
I thought splitting the last Harry Potter movie into 2 parts did the book justice.
